The Harlot Queens To Perform at the Westfield Woman’s Club
The Harlot Queens, a local adult themed comedic musical act will perform one concert at the Westfield Woman’s Club on March 9th at 7:30 PM. The event will include music, merriment, and games. They perform original music, comedic parodies, traditional Irish and Scottish songs, and “nerd culture” favorites.
This concert is a special one as it is also being linked with an EP release party for their award- winning debut EP, “Does a Bawdy Good.” The release party will include two sets and interactive games. The troupe will sing about failed romances, criminal enterprises, and their sweet longing for home. This musical comedy troupe, the Harlot Queens, first formed in 2017. They are composed of several trained Renaissance Faire performers, playing colorful characters with nefarious backstories. The members come from a variety of backgrounds, including an award winning country artist, an opera singer, a musical theatre actor, an improv actor, a voice over artist, instrumentalists, and fight choreographers. They perform throughout New England at fairs and festivals. The Harlot Queens are recent recipients of the Pay It Forward Grant, through City Space in Easthampton, and were awarded Best EP of 2023 by nationally known Scoundrel’s Inn, a pirate themed podcast and internet radio show. - Sandra Gil , publicity chair WWC
